I just saw you all just now but I miss you all already. Hee hee! Anyway I wanted to tell you, you guys really sounded quite good just now!!! Like quite together and quite in tune! Although there's the occassional slip-up BUT you all still sounded good :) I purposely pay a lot of attention to the viola solos hahahaha. And as an orchestra you all sounded quite nice too! I miss playing in a big orchestra man :(

Anyway! Continue to work hard for 29th April YOU GUYS CAN DO IT OKAY OKAY OKAY I believe you all can! I know recess practices (I think you all should be having right) might be very tough and everything with all the bread hahahah but it's worth it when you reap what you sow! All the way okay, and PLEASE SMS ME when the results are out! Regardless of what it might be okay. I would loooooooooooove to be able to hear you guys play but unfortunately our SYF is in the afternoon on the same day so its not possible to hear you all :( Add oil!!!!

Well, HCI concert on Tuesday was fine. Violas <3 were okay although there were only 8 of us. :D
Pity we didn't take a section photo.

Oh yes, we had sectional yesterday during practice with our new SL! It was practically slacking because there was nothing to play. Whoopps.

Anyway, I was reading the archives and it was funny that the red badges were wishing practices were everyday during sec 1. I think that's how we felt too hahahaha.

woah okay i had no idea the blog was so dead! so anyway, hello to anybody who still comes here occassionally! hahaha woah ziqian you bombarded with so many questions at one shot. i shall leave the answering of them to uhhhhhhhhhh cheryl since she seems to come here very often compared to the rest of us.

anyway, (no idea who will actually read this, but) i hope that you all will reaaaaaaaaaaaally reaaaaaaaaaaaaally put in more effort for jubilate. i know what mr goh said on friday may be super discouraging, but you all have got to work hard for yourselves next year okay. we'll be stepping down in approximately 2 months, and your next SL who is yet to be known will have the job of taking you all to syf. i know to you syf seems very far away but believe me one year flies by very quickly. so please don't use 'one year still very far what' as an excuse not to practice now okay! keep motivating yourself, practicing can be fun and not just boring old scales and stuff. if you hate practicing alone then you can find others from other sections and practice the songs together, that'll be more fun.

alllllllllllllllllso like what i've always told you all, ASK IF YOU NEED HELP AND DON'T KEEP QUIET. i don't know how many times i've said this, but yet there is still no response from you. i don't want to have a situation whereby you all are being forced down for extra practice and stuff because you're not up to standard and blah blah blah and then everybody's unhappy. please question if you don't know any parts or need fingerings or whatnot okay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nobody will scold you or eat your head off because you asked so please be brave. i will be very sad if i find out that you don't know and didn't ask :(

so....... that's about all that i wanted to say to you. oh yeah i think that maybe some of you might be treating string as a chore rather than an enjoyment, and... truthfully i have no idea how to change that perspective (if yours is like that). all i know is that it really will be much enjoyable if everybody does their part (little or big) and the time in string will pass reaaaaaaaaaally fast. no joke.

anyway i'm sorry that i still owe you the bowings for dvorak and i'll really get down to it and give it to you all asap. CONTINUE TO WORK HARD, I HAVE FAITH IN YOU ALL :) and PLEASE tell me if you need sectionals i'll really try to find time after school. you can do it, all the way :) jiayou!

Hello violas, I'm here to revive this dead blog! I'm the first to blog this year hahaha. I heard that Mr Chan isn't conducting the orchestra until after Jubilate. And yes Jubilate! Omg the tickets are damn expensive! But I must go and watch hahaha. I wanted to go and play with you all but don't know whether there's time to join you all for rehearsals. So better not. But anyway, it'll be my first time watching Jubilate so yay :)

How are all of you? Are you all practising hard? Are you all prepared for Jubilate already? How was the March holidays camp? Oh and how are the sec ones? Are they cute and nice and tiny and talented and hardworking? Can you all tahan having Mr Goh conduct you all every rehearsal? Hahahaha okay I am asking a lot. yep. i've checked the rates for the booking of bikes at ECP. mmm the most expensive for mountain bikes are $7 an hour, cheapest about $4. double bikes are about $8, didn't manage to find the skates. should be quite okay, since the rates for the bikes aren't sky high so yepppppppppp.

please please please help me and tell me ASAP if you'll be coming along okay! so far i think heidi and may will not be coming, and not all have confirmed with me yet so please please by WEDNESDAY okay? you can message me or call me or tell me on msn or anything anything! cause i don't want to wait for people who aren't coming on thursday and waste everybody's time so pleaseeeeee cooperate okay? okay!

this was taken at the fish and co. dinner one week before syf! sounds so far away now when it was only about half a year ago.

anyway, i hope the greens and the blues are practicing okay! though we will not be going for string until... i forgot the date but continue to keep up the good work! mr goh says you all are quite okay during cca so that's good :) hopefully we'll manage to find an event for us or something so that we will have something to look forward to :) though now a big scaled event is impossible due to fiesta next year, we will have jubilate which (if i'm not wrong) will be a 2 day event so, yep.

oh yeah that time amanda and jingyun asked what the auditions will be on, hahaha actually what we're been playing is really not a lot, only movement 1 and 3 and mostly we play 3, right? and the most difficult part is letter...? :) but don't worry la as long as you can play the notes correctly you should be fine yep! and don't take the standpartner thing too seriously because its good to get to know the others in the section, you all will be going for syf together in 09 and of course you have to bond right! hahaha so yep don't be too skeptical or scared okay, its just to check whether you can cope with the pieces :)

anyway, hellooooooooooooooo everybody hahaha this is so weird. there's only 1 more cca practice and then cca will stand down :( and the blue badges and yellow badges will prepare for EOYs and the red badges will prepare for their o levels, and the green badges will be the only ones left during cca! hahahaha i remember during sec1 when we were the only ones having cca, it was quite fun actually :) cause mr chan was quite laxed (is there such a word.) and he was joking around quite a lot. so yes play well and happily and enjoy cca without us around for that few weeks! be thankful you don't have EOYs man. and be thankful that you all don't have extra lessons from november onwards!!!!!!! :( all the way till the 16th. anyway i really hope that we are going to japan. nothing's confirmed yet which is really sad :( wenman said they are changing the dates and wengjun said the dates are definitely before 1december, but nothing's definite yet :( i hope the trip is still on! aaaaaaaaaaand i hope that next year, we will be able to have an event of ours and not just jubilate! we shall all pray hard and work hard.

i can't wait for 18th september to be over :( and 9th october :( and 31st october (chinese Os on sarah's birthday heh heh heh). then during the holidays we can have section outings and CHALETTTTTTTTTTTTTT! ahhhh. okay we shall all look forward to that :)

Hello Violas! How are you guys now? The last post that was posted was on the day we officially graduated from strings. Which is..EIGHTY-TWO DAYS AGOOOOO! Bet you guys didn't know that righhht (cause I know I'm the only one who is ____ enough to count it)!

You know, at first when my mum said that after this year, I'm not going to play the viola again (honestly, I didn't expect my mum to not allow me), I was like, "WHHHHHY?!" and ya, started this whole war about why I must continue piano then but not viola now. But.. then I started to think about the point of me continuing viola. Even if I somehow manage to (which by the way, still impossible) get to grade 8, what about it? So, it wasn't that bad if I had to give it up. Especially after my viola exam, I was rather sure giving it up was not a bad decision since cough cough cough cough. So yeah. BUT, after my viola exam, she said that if I wanna continue it, it's okay. So "huh" right? So, I DONT KNOWWWWWW =(

Haiyo. Haven't pop down during cca for a lonnnng time already. It feels really weird when I do though. The looks they all give me =/ Mhm okay, I better go now! Take care!

I went back to the older posts and I AM VERY LAME. I SOUND SO LAME OH MY GOD. By the way, does the word, "Mortichaichai" ring a bell? And and and I reaised we were all vey blunt in our words. I don't like holidays. I don't like holiday homework. I don't want to be sec four :( I want to go on a cca overseas trip! Hahahahahahaha. Fun :) I watched PPGs today. One episode was about what if they were normal people with no super powers. They look horrendous. Because their eyes are normal and they're walking!

I feel _____. I dont know how i feel. heh :p Just got back from Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Concert Hall - which is at NUS, which is so far. Anyway, we missed the first song, had to stand outside to listen because, cherry ziqian and sammy were late. oh wells. Then sam and I did not have dinner, so I kept eating sweets to kill my appetite, which help a little only.

The viola concerto was quite nice, I'm jealous. His encore piece was very nice too. So sad, I will never be able to play like him. :(

After the concert I tompang ziqian to Bishan mrt, then i take bus home. as usual, i had to walk pass the dark, creepy construction site. But it was fine. The showhouse is up already. The Place is going to be called: Sommerville Regency. The thing is, the road name is Lorong Selangat. Sommerville is the road before you turn into Lor. Selangat. But then again, Lorong Selangat Regency sounds awful. I want to go see the showhouse, but I scared later the pester my dad, and its also wierd if you are thinking of moving to the house beside your present one.

Hey, I type so long. hee :D Sam says playing audition would improve my hand-eye coordination. But its such a _____ game.

I watched Step Up today. YAY! Channing Tatum look rather nice though. haha. But he is like always wearing extraextra baggy t-shirts and jeans. He look like those rappers. Plus he always wear the cap backwards - it makes him look like a small boy. Anyways, he looks/personality is very different from Duke in She's The Man. But oh wells. HE CAN DANCE - it dosen't look like he had stunt doubles. Ahhhh. heehee.

You all should go watch. You won't regret it. Lalalala. Oh ya, the songs are quite nice too. Yay, more songs to download. haha.

got back all our papers today. i actually didnt fail geog. so shocking. but i should have done better for the stupid mcq, i got like 13 out of 25??!!! darn it. i scraped through my combined humanities. anyways, going to watch death note tomorrow with sammy and cherry!!!! yay (:
